Design Jessica
Jess is the owner and designer of Design • Jessica After graduating with a Graphic Design degree in 2006, Jess was lucky enough to start her dream job at Disney, where one of her most-treasured accolades was designing a Times No.1 best-selling book – Disney’s High School Musical. After six further years of honing her craft and designing for some fantastic companies, such as Transport for London, Disney and Marks & Spencer, Jess launched Design Jessica in 2012.
Now, taking her passion for branding and the knowledge she gained working for these big corporates to that next level, Jess specialises in styling companies from start to finish, whether they are a new business looking for their first designs or a more established company hoping for a fresh take on their brand and literature – there isn’t anything that Jess can’t do!
A qualified Graphic Designer and commercially-minded Brand Designer, Jess loves working with inspiring entrepreneurs, taking pride in her passion for bringing clarity and vision to every project she works on, no matter the client.
As well as creating mind-blowing branding suites for Design Jessica’s clients, Jess is the host of The InDependent Spouse podcast – a weekly series of fun, informative podcasts featuring inspiring guests and content from individuals with a link to the military – and the founder of the Milspo Business Network CIC – a community of entrepreneurs whom all have military connections as military spouses, partners and other halves.
Jess lives just outside of London with her RAF pilot husband Eoin, son Elliot and cheeky rescue animals Emma, Freya and Odin. When she’s not busy designing, you can find her getting bashed on a hockey pitch or taking the (often frosty) plunge by open water swimming in her local lake.
Design Jessica is a top 100 Small Business Saturday Company, the Winner of a Supporting the Unsung Hero Business Award and an award winner at the 2022 Women in Defence Awards.
Through her work with Milspo, Jess is an #ialso 2019 Top 100 Female Entrepreneur and was named in The Telegraph NatWest 100 Female Entrepreneurs to Watch in 2022.
Design Jessica has also signed the Armed Forces Covenant, pledging its support for the Armed Forces community to receive equality and fair treatment when seeking access to public or private goods and services within the UK.
